Cindy Salazar

Cindy Salazar is a dedicated middle school teacher with a passion for helping students unlock their full potential. A proud Fresno State alumna, Cindy combines her strong educational foundation with a creative approach to teaching, ensuring that even the most complex concepts are accessible and engaging for her students. Originally from Salinas, she brings warmth, patience, and innovation to the classroom, tailoring her lessons to meet each child’s unique learning style. Beyond her career in education, Cindy finds balance through her love of yoga, which helps her stay grounded and present both in and out of the classroom. As a devoted mother of one, she understands the importance of nurturing curiosity and confidence in young minds. Cindy’s ability to connect with her students and make learning enjoyable has earned her the respect and admiration of both her peers and the families she serves

Mariana Benavides

Mariana Benavides is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 22 years of experience at Hunt Companies, where she currently works in the Shareholder Services Department. A proud native of El Paso, Texas, Mariana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. Her career is defined by dedication, integrity, and a strong commitment to excellence in financial management and client service.

Outside of work, Mariana enjoys staying active and social through pickleball—a sport she began playing just six months ago. She plays twice a week with friends and loves the camaraderie, fun, and fitness it brings. Family is central to her life; she cherishes spending time with her two adult children, Karina and Noah, who both live in El Paso. Mariana is also a proud dog mom to Bruno, a 15-year-old Schnauzer, and Nala, a 3-year-old Border Collie rescued from a local shelter. An avid traveler, she has visited 22 countries and aims to explore at least two new destinations every year.
